Tonight we inducted eleven members of the University of Houston colony of Gamma Rho Lambda into official chapter status! We’re very excited to finally be full sisters of the Gamma Rho Lambda family at the end of this two year journey. A big thanks to Jacinda and Ashe for flying down to induct us in as the new Kappa chapter.

Fall 2011 rush is on! Come be a part of our amazing Delta class, the class that moves us from colony status to full-on chapter! We’ve got several awesome events planned for rush and we can’t wait to see all the new faces this fall will bring. All events start at 6:00PM. (And hey, all the events come with free food!)

Tuesday, September 6th – Game & Pizza (Mediterranean Room)
Wednesday, September 7th – Movie Night (Atlantic Room)
Thursday, September 8th – Bowling Night (UC Bottom Floor Alley)

GRL National Convention 2011

Five of our UH GRL’s (Erika Lyles, Alex Grandstaff, Aubrey Peloubet, Artemis Maddox and Natalie Slaughter) were fortunate enough to get to attend this year’s GRL National convention, hosted by our awesome sisters at CSUN just north of Los Angeles, California. It was an amazing experience getting to meet sisters from all over the country, from all walks of life, and hearing about the different challenges, opportunities and victories we face in all our various regions. From California to Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, New York and our own Texas, we all left with more friends and sisters than we knew what to do with and can’t wait to connect with them all in 2012! Though if our Facebook pages are any indication, most of us aren’t waiting that long!
